Private Residence – Garfield County, CO

The residence captured is one of ATDS’ first projects. The residence is a three-story single-family home with a walk-out lower level. The site has a steep hill on the backside of the residence which requires the flight planning to compensate for the hillside in order to avoid any drone-to-earth impacts. The wooden trellis feature off of the main level deck took careful flight planning to accurately capture and minimize “holes” in the model. As of December 2023, this homeowner is renovating both of the deck spaces around the residence. The architect of record is using ATDS’ model not only to have a photorealistic and geometrically accurate model, but to insert the newly proposed deck elements into the model as part of their design flow and interaction with the homeowner.
